2×4 foundation Co-Founder Nikki Silver is an Emmy Award-winning producer whose work spans acclaimed films, documentaries, and beloved children’s television. Most recently, she produced the Netflix film Monster and the Sundance hit Premature, following earlier projects including The Giver and The Watsons Go to Birmingham. She began her career producing the iconic PBS series Reading Rainbow, which earned 24 Emmy Awards, including Best Children’s Series for five consecutive years.

Born and raised in New York, Nikki has built a career centered on impactful storytelling and philanthropy. In addition to her work across film and television, she remains deeply involved in charitable initiatives through organizations including Penn Live Arts and Elluminate, and is committed to supporting communities through both creative and philanthropic work.
